With the indispensable confidence in the future

                                                     

I'm afraid to admit how many times in my life "I’ve parted with the old and celebrate the New Year" and always with indispensable faith in the future. Thank fate that has given me time to do so many of my wishes, what good, what does not.

 When we reached the magical night in which the clock counts down the last day of December, our first thought is “I hope everything forward is going to be better”.

What better? To pray nature, which we do not protect to be more merciful to us? To try to respect others and appreciate the good that is done without responding to the poor poorer? To teach our children to love work and respect others and appreciate the clever and industrious people? Do not give a chance lazy, cunning and envious?

In fact, does not it envy one of the most dangerous tools in the hands of men? If we start from small immature soul who do not even know the names of toys, but she rather unceremoniously snatched from the hands of other children? "Another child plays with this colorful thing, and I want it!" These are the first symptoms, right?

How to go against nature?

 For millennia we tried everything and instead learn to be good, we have enriched and specialized in the bad. Our religion or sport didn’t unload bad feelings, neither art - this higher expression of the human mind could ennoble much the need intention of Earth's inhabitants.
In the human soul were collected many different feelings and desires like ambition, laziness, diligence, curiosity, greed and many qualities that shape personality. They move society in a positive and negative direction.

And what is the place of envy, it does not fit into any group. It is not wish to have, to do, or to achieve something. It is a desire that the other cannot do things, or not to have know. In other words, the other has to be worse than you, and if not get him, right?

Then what, we are left to take revenge? How many friends, relatives, neighbors and colleagues have paid tribute to this phenomenon? No need examples leave them to the novelists, and we may remember the phrase "I'll burn my house, just to burn the barn of my neighbor."
Recently in some schools they not reported publicly and do not compare the grates and behavior of children. It does not give ground for this bad feeling – envy.

In my career I worked two jobs. The first 14 years after a lot of "crack and kicking" I learned how to swim upstream. That I achieved and my university moved is countryside, where I never thought to live.
So, I became unemployed in mid-life, but with enough experience and assets in the profession. It was not the most important asset. So, I came to the conclusion that "silent" in their intentions live quite well. Sleep peacefully, enjoying the pleasures and their job without looking back and sides for "evil Vedas and cold storms."
It seems to me that these are useful measures against envy. You will ask me was I a coward or a loner? No, I had many friends in my life. Our friendship with some of them dates of 4-5 decades. Although now thousands of miles separate us, we still live with those warm feelings from the past, those who stayed hum.

I'm not a coward; rather my daughter asked me if I am afraid of anything?

You may say I'm a skeptic, I am. In my profession I had to "peek" 30 years in the cells and molecules with the possibilities of science from 60-90-th years. Could I with a light heart to believe in the results? How many times I had to repeat some experiments to come to the right conclusion?
Jealousy between individuals hinders society brings misery to many people, but there is some civil regulation. Sometimes the court is able to help.

It is a pity when jealousy intervened in political life. It seems naive. I agree naive to assume, but it has existed for millennia. How about the phenomenon of elections? In the electoral list usually have 2-3 candidates who have the necessary intellectual resources, knowledge and experience. And what is the hope for the rest?

Nothing, sleepless nights and heartburn, seasoned sometimes with peppery feeling of envy.
And finally what stimulates "fighters" of ISIS to this insane war? Those who recruit militants from around the world, what people do they selected - losers, slackers and psychopaths. Why, because these jealous people can most easily be instilled and futile fanaticism and cruelty if pour a little of this "effective" fuel - envy. Yes and the promise of money, women, and the opportunity to take revenge on those who have progressed because they had given for it. Envy it again, right?

You say, simplifying things and naiveté, no. I have long struggle to break the events through my prism.

I do not expect we the people to raise our hands and run away. Look, the Earth is still beautiful and full of good and nice people, wants only one, not to give chance envious. It is worth to try everything. And then we have to look good in life, in people and in nature.
